WHAT YOU GET

Every plan includes the same three surfaces.

Triom is not sold as separate modules. Merging and order editing are on every plan from the free tier up — what changes as you move up is how many merges and edits are covered before per-use pricing applies, and whether editing rules and upsells are switched on.

Automatic order merging

Rules you define combine duplicate orders from the same customer going to the same address — before anyone picks or packs. You choose the conditions, such as how long after the first order a second one still qualifies.

Manual order merging

Combine any two eligible orders yourself from the Triom dashboard when a rule does not cover the case. Useful for the phone order, the split cart, or the customer who emails after the window closes.

Customer order editing

A self-serve window where customers change the shipping address, swap a variant, or adjust quantities on their own order — without opening a support ticket. You decide how long the window stays open and which changes are allowed.

Billing through Shopify

Charges appear on your normal Shopify invoice. Change plans or cancel from your Shopify admin at any time, and your merge quota resets monthly on the date shown in the dashboard.

CUSTOMERS

Operators talking about Triom.

"We've had several customers reach out to tell us how much they appreciate multiple orders being combined and the extra shipping charges refunded. It's a customer service feature that sets us apart from our competitors."

EarthSpoke Farms

"The free plan works perfectly for a small store like ours, and it feels flexible rather than limiting."

Soroka London

"Easily the best order merging app that I've used. I have been using Triom for a few years now and it has saved me hundreds of hours of manual work."

QUESTIONS

How the pricing actually works.

What counts as a merge?

One merge is one operation that combines two or more orders into a single order, whether Triom did it automatically from your rules or you did it by hand. Once you pass your monthly allowance, additional merges bill at the per-merge rate shown on your plan — from 50¢ on the free plan down to 10¢ on Order Merger Plus.

What counts as an edit?

Edits are counted per order, not per change. If a customer opens their order, corrects the shipping address, then swaps a variant and bumps a quantity, that is still one edit — not three. You are counted once for that order no matter how many changes the customer makes inside the editing window. The free and Basic plans include a monthly allowance with a per-edit rate beyond it; Pro, Advanced and Order Merger Plus include unlimited customer edits.

What happens when I hit my monthly limit?

Nothing stops working. Merges past your allowance are billed at your plan’s per-merge rate rather than being blocked, so a busy month never leaves orders unmerged. The dashboard shows merges remaining, a usage bar, and the date your quota resets.

How does the trial work?

The paid plans each come with a 7-day free trial, so you can test the higher limits before anything reaches your Shopify invoice. The free Merge As You Go plan has nothing to trial — it is free to run, and you only pay the per-merge and per-edit rates beyond the included allowance. Either way you approve the plan in your Shopify admin before it starts, since that is how Shopify handles app subscriptions.

Can I change plans later?

Yes, at any time from your Shopify admin. Stores usually start on the free plan or Basic and move up when the per-merge overage starts costing more than the next tier’s monthly price.

Which orders can be merged automatically?

Automatic merging requires two orders from the same customer with matching shipping addresses. On top of that you set your own conditions — for example, only merge when the second order arrives within 60 minutes of the first. Anything that does not match your rules stays untouched and can still be merged manually.

Is order editing included on every plan?

Yes. Every plan includes the self-serve editing window; only the limits differ. Editing rules, which let you vary the window and the allowed actions by order type, start on the Pro plan.

When do upsells become available?

Upsell recommendations are included on the Advanced plan, and Order Merger Plus adds advanced recommendations. Upsells appear in the checkout and order-editing flows, so customers see relevant products at the moment they are already changing their order.

Still deciding? The order merging walkthrough and the order editing walkthrough show both features end to end, or get in touch and we will help you size a plan.
